Choose the dish location before planning the cable run
A clear view of the sky matters. Starlink’s installation guidance recommends using the app’s obstruction tool to check a proposed position. A roof edge, tree branch or nearby structure can interrupt the connection, so the easiest mounting location is not always the most suitable.
We discuss how to secure the equipment and bring its cable into the building. Share photos of the property and the place where you want the router. The plan needs to account for the kit, its approved accessories and a cable route that can be installed and maintained sensibly.
Improve WiFi coverage where you actually use it
Getting a connection to the router is one step; reaching your office, television or other rooms is another. Electronic Wizards also works with Eero mesh WiFi, access points, Ethernet switches and wired network connections. Tell us where the current signal falls short and which devices matter most.

Frequently Asked Questions
Many Starlink kits support another router, but the connection and settings depend on the kit. Check the model before buying adapters; some configurations use bypass mode and some require an Ethernet adapter.
It turns off the routing function of the Starlink router so another router can manage the network. Use the current instructions for your hardware and review which Starlink app functions remain available.
Do not assume the mounts are interchangeable. Check the exact dish generation and the accessory compatibility before reusing a bracket or ordering a replacement.
The equipment needs power. Backup operation requires a suitable power source sized for the kit and desired runtime; Starlink publishes different power requirements for different hardware.
It may, depending on the cable route and whether a suitable existing entry is available. Review the route before work begins. Any new penetration needs the correct treatment for the wall and the equipment instructions
Starlink is designed for self-installation, and a ground-level setup may be practical when the
location is suitable. Permanent elevated mounting or difficult cable routing may call for professional help. Follow the instructions for your exact kit.
Check your hardware and current service-plan terms with Starlink before moving it. A fixed installation does not by itself establish that roaming or in-motion use is supported.
The device, WiFi connection, network activity and test conditions can change the result. Compare like-for-like tests before treating a difference as a problem with the satellite equipment.
